ESABASE2 Sunlight
ESABASE2/Sunlight is an application for calculating the electromagnetic radiation incident onto the surfaces of a spacecraft during a mission. Based on a complex model of electromagnetic radiation, the application can be configured with several parameters:
Analysis output options with respect to direct,
indirect, and a combination of both sources
Multi-emission algorithms including
reflection and transmission
Solar spectrum
Planet albedo properties
Thermo optical properties
These parameters allow you to perform analyses such as:
UV degradation investigation
Terrestrial test verification
Power profile analysis
Stray light analysis
Illumination analysis
